For a lot of people, scheduling a trip to Fernando de Noronha means to achieve a dream. Once in the Archipelago, you have the feeling to be in a wonderful part of Brazil. There are 17 square kilometers, 545 km away from the coast, with 2,100 inhabitants and where the tourism is developped in a sustainable way, creating the opportunity of an equilibrated meeting between man and nature in one of the most important ecologic sanctuaries of the world.

For enjoying the numberless natural attractions and experiencing a little bit of the history of our colonization, a trip to Noronha requires at least 5 days. There are countless activitiy and tour options, which satisfy different people and offer to the visitor the chance to see all natural beauties of the islands.


How to arrive

You have two options by plane. There are two daily flights from Recife and also two from Natal. By sea you can make an unforgettable cruise on board of ships, which visit Noronha between October and February.

What to take with you

clothes, slippers, sun glasses, diving equipment, which can also be hired in the island and a lot of disposition. Take also live money with you, as most of the shops in the Archipelago do not accept credit cards. The only bank that has an agency in the Archipelago is the Banco Real and there are no exchange offices.

Best time to visit the island

In Fernando de Noronha the average temparature is 28 degrees centigrade on earth and 26 degrees centigrade at sea and there are only two seasons: a dry season (from September up to March) and a rainy season (from April up to August), however in the rainy season there are only sporadic rains interlaid by intense sunshine.
